Behind Mandi Rhubi lies a character that's part autobiography, part fantasy. Isabelle starts with a personal anecdote:

at the age of 16, when I was studying classical and contemporary dance, one of my teachers said to me: “You'll end up at Crazy Horse!”... because I'm taller than the average and have all the measurements sought by Bernardin, the founder of the famous Parisian cabaret: the height, 1.72m, the space between the belly button and the mount of Venus (13cm) and the distance between the two nipples (21cm)....
